Our son, the Airman

Yesterday our oldest son was sworn in to the United States Air Force. He already passed his entry test into the Pararescue school so his hopes and dreams are set on one day being a Pararescueman. Once he finishes basic training, he will begin 18 months of training for that. I believe it will be an exciting adventure for him and he says he's ready for the challenge. I stood there so proud of him and his commitment to serve our country...just like his dad!

Laura, I am doing well. I miss my husband, but the Lord has really been working in my heart this last week. I hope you and your family are doing well in your husband's absence. Still praying for you!
Thanks for the comment about my poem.
