A nice Saturday afternoon...

Today we went to the Farmer's Market in the big city. It was fun to get out and walk around for a few hours. It's been a snowy, rainy week so when the sun was shining when we woke up we were ready to get outside. It was a nice start to the twins' spring break! My favorite part was the candy store where they had some pretty amazing candy apples. Check these out...We had an Apple Pie Candy Apple, and it was unbelievably good! They slice them for you, and it's a good thing...plenty of opportunity to share that way! I don't think you could eat one on your own...I could be wrong though! We saw the largest lobster, shrimp and king crab legs I have ever seen. If you buy fish, they throw it at you! It's pretty funny to watch huge fish flying out into the crowd. (That happened way too quickly for me to get any pictures.)And, there were BEAUTIFUL flowers everywhere! (I knew our daughter wouldn't leave there without buying some...or someone special buying her some...ha ha!)We had a good day together. Taking the "family photo" made me immediately think about our son missing though. (We love you and miss you, son!) Oh, here's a picture of that "someone special" I mentioned earlier...I've tried to give our daughter her privacy since moving here so I told them that today he would be making his debut on my blog. He's a wonderful guy, who has been a blessing to our family, and I think he deserves to be mentioned! He, too, serves our country.

Makes me miss home to see those pictures!! Sounds like you had a fun day. Isn't the fish throwing just crazy! And the flowers, stalls everywhere!
Your daughter has a handsome sweetie, there's just something about the high and tight haircut, isn't there. Looks like a great guy!
Meredith has been hugged, several times, and I'm bringing back hugs for you, plan a meeting after we get back!
