The word is out.

I write and erase, write and erase...

Today we got word of where our husbands will deploy to. All I can say is I'm thankful they didn't announce to us when via email. I hope we get to hear that with our spouse beside us! If I could have it my way...I want to hear that from my husband as he holds me in his arms and tells me everything's going to be OK. Hearing anything when you can't talk to your spouse for another couple of weeks just stinks! That's all I'm going to say about that!

Hi Laura,
Thank you for your comment earlier .... I have missed you as well and miss hearing about your family. I know how hectic life can become, especially now that you are working and holding everything together. I read this post and my heart stopped for a minute for you. I hope that your news was good news. I pray for our military, and always remember your husband. I am so thankful for men like him who not only are sacrificing for our Country but taking the good news to our sons and daughters who are in places that need to hear Gods hope!

How is your daughter doing? Hope everything has settled down for you since the wedding. Email me sometime. -love, Laurie

Oh, how I am praying for you. I thought of you this morning as I watched Fox News and they spoke about where deployments were coming out of... I am thankful for our service men and women, and for the support that their chaplains continue to give... and for the families that love and care for them. Bless you.

You are in my prayers! I have been there and I know how difficult the not knowing can be. We had a general idea of when Dave was going to go for quite a while but we didn't get exact dates until pretty close. They didn't even give us orders until about a week before the deployment. Like I said, I'm praying!
