I decided to take two days off work to spend more time with my twins. They've been working hard to keep our house clean for showing (even mowing the yard today without any help). I feel like I needed to do that for them, especially since I'll be gone for a while to see my husband soon. They'll have a good time with my family while I'm away, but I know that will be a little long for both me and dad to be gone so I wanted to take some time to spend with them while I can.
They make me so proud! I don't know what I'd do without them. They are encouraging, funny - making me laugh when I might not otherwise right now, sympathetic, sincere, creative, fun, supportive, hard workers, grateful for everything we do for them; they put others before themselves.
I am honored to be their mom!
Since I know they check my blog periodically...THANK YOU, BOYS, FOR ALL YOU DO AND FOR BEING SUCH AWESOME KIDS!!! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!

I bet we are going on the same weekend. I am going the last weekend in June. (3 kids for a 17 hour drive) I am sure you will have a great time. My kids can't wait. Andrea May

We are going at the same time! I'll be there for 9 days!! Send me your email address and I won't post that comment. I will be praying for you as you travel that far with 3 kids.
My kids are much older now, but I remember those days when he was in the military before. We'll do anything to see them...even if it means going insane!! :)
When he went in the first time my two oldest kids were 18 months and 38 months and I would drive 5 hours to sit with him an hour at church - because that was the only time he could see me - and drive back...couldn't even hold his hand because he was in uniform, and in basic training (and scared to death he might mess up somehow). No regrets though. I do it again in a heartbeat! I WISH he was only 5 hours away this time!!
