This is what I love about the field...
He was sick the entire time he was there due to allergies, but there was still a smile on his face.

Love the picture of the birthday cake. My husband is also a Chaplain in the Army. Before e-mail, I would receive letters written on the back of MRE boxes and checks made out on 3x5 notecards. This is certainly a different life we live, but it is the one God chooses and I wouldn't have it any other way.
